Christian Fagerlund is an artist and instructor living in Cambridge, MA.
His paintings and drawings have been exhibited regionally, nationally, and internationally, with solo and group shows in New York, California, Texas, Oklahoma, and the French West Indies. His work has been featured in New American Paintings, The Blue Review, American Art Collector, Art Aesthetics Magazine, and Rizzoli's "The Figure: Contemporary Perspectives.” He received his MFA from the New York Academy of Art, where he was awarded the NYAA Post-Graduate Fellowship in 2004.
With over two decades of teaching experience, he has taught a wide range of students—from MFA graduates to high school students, professional artists to complete beginners—in university, atelier, museum education, and community college programs. “Regardless of who I am working with, my aim is the same: to identify your specific needs, address them directly, and help you reach your goals.”
